By Mark C on September 1, 2017 This cozy mystery-style story is populated with interesting characters in a very cool setting. Nice small town feel that makes Lake Superior almost another character in the story. The plotline was enjoyable and not overly complicated, and I really enjoyed the supernatural touch, particularly at the end. The flow is good and the author has a nice touch with knowing when to inject an unexpected twist. Strong showing for a first-time author. Between the characters in this town and the interesting "Past Imperfect" antique store setting, this is ripe for a series. And I hope the author maintains the slight supernatural element. That was quite an interesting byline without it dominating the story. Very well done. ![]()
