Hello, I am Yolanda but go by the pen name of Yo Loni. I was born in North Philadelphia and raised in the small town of Harleyville South Carolina. I am a single mother of one very handsome, and activity young man. I began writing at the age of ten. In Philly we had this placed called the Center where all the kids went after school. While everyone was playing games, I was writing. I was told I was a great story teller. As I got older I stopped writing because I than got into playing sports. It wasn’t until 2011 I started writing again. I was introduce to Author Alfred Adams. I worked at a state prison here in South Carolina where he was serving time. He allowed me to read over one of his books he was working on and that’s when I decided I want to write again. It wasn’t until May 2014 when my writing career began. I sign with Write House Publishing under Danielle Marcus Present. In September 2014 my first novel was released. I never thought about writing as a career until I was introduced to Danielle Marcus, my publisher. Her passion for the craft is unbelievable. Because of her I wanted to be able to embrace my writing talent and grow as an author. She is a true leader and I appreciate her for giving me the opportunity to show case my talent.
My most recent release was Dysfunctional Lovers.
